CAPE YORK - THE TRIP OF A LIFE TIME.
The ultimate trip that tests your vehicle and driving skills as you tackle the ever changing road conditions. It is by far the best trip we have done and would recommend doing this trip as the scenery and out of the way places are spectacular.

You can spend months in the Cape and still not see everything. The overland telegraph track is a great challenge.

CAPE MELVILLE - September  2004
We spent a day exploring Cooktown and headed via the Starke Track to Cape Melville. It was slow going as the track was washed away in some places but the scenery was great. There is a good supply of fresh water coming from a spring not far away from the beach. It can get windy but we enjoyed 4 great days fishing and relaxing. We recommend going to the Cooktown museum to find out the history about Cape Melville.

THE GULF TRIP - September 2005
The trip started at Normanton and then headed south to Gregory Downs, Adel’s Grove, Lawn Hill, Kingfisher Camp, Bourketown and onto Cobbold Gorge on the way back to Cairns. We have been to the Gulf before and stayed at Karumba where the fishing is great and the sunsets stunning.
